William DuVall - Alice In Chains

William DuVall from Alice in Chains becomes Celestion endorsing artist and Partner in Tone

April 8, 2014

We're very happy to announce that William DuVall from Alice In Chains has just joined our growing ranks of Partners in Tone - discerning guitar players who rely on Celestion to help achieve tonal Nirvana.

In his latest touring rig, William will be loading G12H Anniversaries and Vintage 30s, which will be a bit of a departure.

He told us, "I've used Celestion 25W and 30W speakers all my life. Simply put, Celestion is the standard."

In 1983, William DuVall helped found the controversial Atlanta-based hardcore punk band Neon Christ, contributing guitars and lyrics to the band's albums. He joined Alice in Chains in 2006, and appears on the 2009 album "Black Gives Way to Blue" as well as the 2013 follow-up "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here", replacing Layne Staley since his death in April 2002.
