Rocking Yankee Stadium with the Big Four

"The Big 4" juggernaut rolled into Yankee stadium this September with Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer tearing up the stage in front of more than 50,000 people. Celestion speakers were right there on stage... stacked up behind every one of these awesome bands.

Megadeth's Dave Mustaine (Vintage 30), Anthrax's Scott Ian (Vintage 30, Classic Lead) and Slayer's Kerry King (G12T-100, Vintage 30) are long time endorsees of Celestion. For this Big Four show and tour, another Celestion endorsing artist, Gary Holt of Exodus (Vintage 30) has took over Slayer guitar duties from Jeff Hanneman, who is currently recovering from illness.

For Metallica, lead man Kirk Hammett was playing through his Signature Randall stack, whose cabinets feature custom-built Celestion G12H-100s, and it's no secret that James Hetfield is a long time Vintage 30 player... and right now we believe he's thrown a few Golds into the mix, too!
