Using LASER interferometry, we measure the velocity of movement of small sections of the speaker cone, piecing these fragments of information together to build an accurate three dimensional picture of the cone’s movement across the frequency spectrum.
This enables us to quickly and clearly evaluate loudspeaker performance early in the design phase, to pinpoint where further improvements can be made.
A successful example is the development of a special cone and surround for the CF1025C mid/bass driver, leading to super-clear performance in the application-critical mid-band frequencies.
