The Neo V-Type delivers the familiar and addictive modern vintage sound of the V-Type, but gives you a weight reduction of almost 50%.

This sweet sounding speaker has a superbly balanced sonic signature that imparts a vintage musicality to your tone. Clean sounds have just the right amount of upper-mid chime and HF sparkle to add clarity and definition. Crank it up for a sizzling overdrive and some raw rhythmic grind, and thanks to a little extra Celestion magic you can expect a little extra definition and note separation for your solos and searing, single note lead lines.

V-Type

Combining decades of experience with advanced measurement and analysis the V-Type has been built using a carefully balanced ‘recipe’ of old and new design techniques. It produces a heady exciting modern vintage sound that just makes you want to keep on playing: a guitar speaker that delivers authentic Celestion tone whatever your style. The V-type is a sweet sounding speaker with a superbly balanced tonal signature that imparts a vintage musicality to your tone. Clean sounds are true across the lows mids and highs with just enough upper-mid chime and HF sparkle to add clarity and definition. Crank it up for a sizzling overdrive and raw rock tones with plenty of mid-band warmth to give body and substance to lead note playing

A-Type

Celestion guitar speakers have been an important part of British guitar tone since the birth of Rock & Roll. Traditionally they’re known for lively and vocal midrange character with plenty of sparkle and chime which turns into an exciting growl when overdriven often compressing when pushed hard.

Inspired by our favourite modern American tones the A-Type is a different kind of guitar speaker from Celestion. Of course it still has the musical and revealing three- dimensional quality that is the heart and soul of a Celestion guitar speaker however it features a more laid-back midrange which reveals body and complexity in the upper register accompanied by full and rounded low frequencies.

The A-Type conveys a fluid even performance with an increased headroom threshold that allows your amp’s tone to shine through. Clean players will love the smooth articulation; for rockers the brooding powerful low end threatens thunder that’s only a heavy riff away!

Midnight 60

The Midnight 60 continues Celestion’s tradition of delivering rich, classic British tone in innovative new ways, featuring the moving parts that were inspired by the V-Type design, but with a different magnet assembly which has the effect of shifting the tonal balance to give a sonic character more reminiscent of Celestion’s vintage G12L speaker.

Whatever the genre, Midnight 60 provides an exhilarating sound in the classic Celestion style. Cleans are well balanced with just enough top end to make the high frequencies sparkle. Overdriven this speaker brings searing rock tones with plenty of low-end warmth and mid-band character.

VT-Junior

Loaded into many popular branded practice combos the VT Jr is now available to buy for replacement and upgrades. Delivering the same balance and musicality as its big brother the V-Type, the 10-inch VT Jr. has been formulated using the same recipe of old and new design techniques. Expect a juicy low mid punch together with plenty of high end sparkle and the same thrilling responsiveness that will leave you feeling connected to your music.

F12-X200

Finally a dedicated guitar speaker for amp modellers and IRs. The F12-X200 is a truly full range driver that delivers a frequency response from 60Hz all the way up to 20kHz the higher frequency part of the signal is reproduced using a Celestion compression driver which has been integrated using a high quality crossover circuit. This enables the F12-X200 to reproduce the full spectrum of audible frequencies for the most accurate output possible whatever your environment and set-up.

The F12-X200’s response is remarkably neutral with Celestion technology built in to ensure there are no unwanted colourations that can overpower the input signal. However the lighter moving mass and straighter sided cone of the type commonly used with guitar speakers gives the X200 the feel and live response of a traditional guitar speaker delivering all the physical feedback you’d expect from playing through a conventional guitar rig. It’s not just FRFR, it’s Full Range LIVE Response.

Used with amp modellers or IRs in a backline cab or a wedge monitor on stage or in the studio it doesn’t just sound like great guitar tone it feels like it too.

G12H-75 Creamback

Back in the late 60s the G12H was created by fixing an ‘H’ type (heavy) magnet to the body of a G12M guitar speaker. Result: a speaker with more power and a different tonal balance: firmer bass and a more pronounced top end. So we added an ‘H’ magnet to the G12M-65 Creamback to create a guitar speaker that delivers the sonic signature of a G12H combined with Creamback levels of power handling. The result is the G12H-75 Creamback. It delivers 75-watts of power handling with ease and has unmistakeable G12H tone with a tighter low end than the G12M-65 Creamback and a punchier more dynamic high end. The H magnet brings additional focus body and girth to the Creamback tone. It thickens single notes resulting in a highly articulate vocal character. These additional characteristics mean that the G12H-75 Creamback offers exceptional performance when used for lead guitar and sounds massive loaded into a 4×12 cab!

G10 Vintage

A worthy successor to the Vintage 10 the G10 Vintage is a 10 speaker with bags of attitude. Using powerful ceramic magnets and the same voice coil design as the Vintage 30 the G10 packs an impressive punch with its 60W power handling. With the fast response of a 10 but with the strong and creamy vocal tones of a 12 the G10 is the ideal choice to add depth to hollow- sounding amps or for players who want to get humbucker-type girth from single-coils. Can be used singly to add vocal warmth to small valve combos or in quartets for a weightier but still lively attack.

The V-Type offers an alternative tonal flavour and a warm tactile feel.  Highs are open and airy, but never shrill or brittle; complemented by full-bodied lows and a well-balanced midrange. Clean sounds sparkle and glimmer, but there’s still plenty of raunch on tap when it’s time to rock out.

The V-Type offers chime and sparkle in the upper- mids, a warm, well rounded mid-range and punchy lows, making it a great choice for a range of playing styles and rock genres. Now it’s easy to experience the modern vintage tones of the Celestion V-Type at home, in the studio or live, by downloading the new V-Type DSR.

As a host program for the new V-Type DSR and the entire line of Celestion DSRs, SpeakerMix Pro presents the genuine next-generation virtual speaker solution.
